Free Early Education Entitlement 2,3 & 4 year olds – term time only

Children are entitled to up to 15 hours per week childcare for 38 weeks of the year (school term) from the term after their third birthday/second birthday (eligibility criteria applies to 2 year old funding) 

3 and 4 year olds may also be entitled to up to 30 hours funding from the term after their 3rd Birthday. (eligibility criteria applies)

1 September – 31 December ​

Free entitlement starts following January
1 January - 31 March                                   

Free Entitlement starts following April
1 April – 31 August                                     

Free entitlement starts following September
